Thank you for your interest in becoming an Embryo Donor with Acts of Kindness Embryo Donation. This is the greatest gift you can offer others to help fulfill their dream of building a family!
We strive to make the donation process simple and seamless for our donors. Here’s an overview of the steps involved:
1. Complete the Online Profile at 100%
Begin by filling out your donor profile to provide us with essential information about you and your embryos. Please complete this within 30 days to avoid automatic rejection. To ensure we can provide you with the best possible service, it is essential that our process is followed to determine acceptance.
2. Sign our Medical Records Release Form
Once your profile is submitted, we’ll provide a medical release form for you to sign. This allows us to obtain the necessary medical records related to your embryos. We are unable to review acceptance unless these forms are completed. Please note: some clinics, labs, or storage facilities may require that you complete their internal request before releasing any records to us. Example: ReproTech, Baystate Health, John Hopkins. We kindly ask that you reach out to them and complete their release forms as well. Please note: If you worked with an Egg Donor and/or Sperm Donor, you will be asked to upload your donor(s) profile(s) and genetic screening results if applicable. If you do not have this information available, please contact your agency or fertility clinic for copies. If you have a partner, the forms will go to you first and then automatically to your partner to sign. They will come over as Arbor/AOK since Arbor fertility is our partner lab. Please check your junk, spam, and promotions folders.
3. Lab Review for Acceptance
After receiving your records, our partner lab will review the information to determine if we can accept the embryos into our program.
4. Donor Agreement
If the embryos are eligible, we will send you a donor agreement tailored to your chosen preferences: closed, semi-open, or open. For Semi-Open + Open Relationships: both parties will have access to each other's medical history and lifestyle updates through EDC Nexus registry.
5. Secure Storage
Once the agreement is finalized, we will move your embryos to our partner lab for secure storage while we work to find a match.
6. Storage Fees
We cover storage fees for up to two years. If a match is not found within this timeframe, you will be responsible for continued storage costs of $600 per year until a match is made.
We are honored to assist you through this journey of kindness and generosity. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at info@aokembryos.com or 314-338-3701. We are here to support you every step of the way!
Many Blessings,
AOK Team
